Draft Letter to Congress: Impeach, Convict and Remove President Donald John Trump

 

The second presidential term of Donald John Trump has been one fraught with abuses of power that threaten to destroy our democracy. There is only one way to check these abuses and begin to repair the damages done to the constitution and heal the lives of those who have been injured in the process. That way is the legal impeachment, conviction and removal of our current president.

Submitted for your approval, please find this short, and to-the-point letter draft you can use to contact your representatives. Please read it over. 

If you have been following the events involving President Trump’s second term in office. The lies, the crimes committed, the abridgment of our constitutional freedoms, the naked politically motivated prosecutions of those opposing him both in the past and present, then fill in as much of your information as you feel comfortable sharing with your congresspeople and send it to your representatives for your state.

Subject: Urging Support for Current Impeachment Bills

I am writing to you today as a constituent to express my strong support for the impeachment bills currently introduced in the House of Representatives, specifically citing H.Res. 353, H.Res. 415, and H.Res. 537.

I urge you to actively champion these resolutions and take decisive action to move the impeachment process forward. As your constituent, I believe this is a critical matter of protecting the integrity of our constitutional government and upholding the rule of law, which I believe has been undermined by recent actions, in particular, Trump’s ordering airstrikes of sea vessels off of the coast of Venezuela, without extending due process for the inhabitants of those vessels. The next instance of an impeachable act involves Trump’s reaction to those senators, that were former members of the military, stating the facts that they can disobey unlawful orders handed down to them from the presidency. History will reveal how Trump harassed those individuals to the extent of stochastic terrorism by suggesting that they be executed by hanging.

I could site many other instances when President Trump’s behavior clearly rose to that of an impeachable offense. That would fill volumes and so, is not the point of this message to you. The point of this message is to respectfully request that you support all three of these bills being put before you so as to facilitate an impeachment proceeding in Congress. This proceeding would draft the first step in healing a  nation wounded by a tyrannical president who would stop at nothing to become a common dictator.

The Screaming Goat Speaks.

 A while back I saw a video on YouTube complaining that Microsoft's CoPilot AI feature was essentially the equivalent of a "screaming goat" video, implying that the program was to him, a useless irritating feature that he found no use at all in his work. The man was a writer, like me, but unlike me, he still had the talent, tenacity and determination to not rely upon artificial intelligence to fill in the gaps in his writing.
